2022 Resistol Little Wrangler Rookie of the Year

Bryce Burke is 10 years old and is from Charleston, Missouri. He competes in Goat Tying, Flag Racing, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping and Ribbon Roping at the Little Britches Rodeos. In his first year competing in the Little Britches Rodeos he was the Reserve Champion All Around Cowboy for Western Kentucky Little Britches and was the All Around Cowboy for the Heartland Little Britches. At the 2022 National Little Britches Rodeo he finished 2nd in the second round of Goat Tail Untying, 9th in the first round of the barrel racing, and 7th in the first round of the flag racing. He finished 3rd Place World Champion Flag Racer, 8th in Goat Tail Untying and 14th in the barrel racing. He was the 2022 National Reserve Champion All Around Cowboy for the Little Wrangler Division.

Bryce enjoys all things roping, rodeo and horse related. Roping goats with his brothers is one of this favorite past times. He likes to play baseball and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

When he grows up he wants to be just like his dad because he is a good roper, great person and an awesome dad!


2022 Resistol Jr Girl Rookie of the Year

Laney Salo's life started in Torrington WY and we moved to Wickenburg AZ when I was four and Grover CO when I was six. I am a two time junior high national finals qualifier, one time National Little Britches National Finals, and National Little Britches Resistol Rookie of the Year. I am thirteen years old and enjoy training colts and anything with a horse. I compete in barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, team roping, and ribbon roping.


2022 Resistol Jr Boy Rookie of the Year

Dal Pinner is from Huntington, TX and attends school at Chireno High School. He is a member of the Lone Star Little Britches Rodeo Association. Dal is also a member of the FFA, he plays baseball, runs cross country (regional qualifier) and participates in track. When not playing sports and rodeoing, he enjoys working on vehicles, hunting, and fishing. Dal has been a region champion in Saddle Bronc riding for 2 years and also Ribbon Roping. He was the All Around Champion for the Lone Star Little Britches and the Jr World Champion in Saddle Steer for the National Little Britches Rodeo. Dal gives all his credit to God for providing him the opportunities and talent to compete.


2022 Resistol Sr Girl Rookie of the year

Paige Ward comes to us from Lufkin, Tx. She is 16 years old and competes in Barrels, Poles, Breakaway, Goats, and Ribbon Roping. Paige was the 2022 Cajun Little Britches Senior Girl Goat Tying Champion and also the 2022 Lonestar Reserve All-around champ and the Ribbon Roping Champion.


2022 Resistol Sr Boy Rookie of the Year

Caleb Lake is an 18 year old from Bayfield, CO. He competes in Steer Wrestling, Calf Roping, and Team Roping. His greatest rodeo accomplishments thus far is being crowned the 2022 NLBRA Steer Wrestling World Champion, the 2022 NLBRA Rookie of the Year, and also the CPRA Steer Wrestling Rookie of the Year. Caleb will also be representing the NLBRA during the Jr Ironman competition held at the Lazy E this spring. When he isn't rodeoing he enjoys hunting, fishing, and riding his dirt bike.
